Who We Are

My name is Scott, his name is Russ. Before marrying his daughter in 2017 I was introduced to Russ a couple of years prior. When I was introduced to Russ, I was also introduced to Guillain-Barre Syndrome also known as GBS. I had never heard of this extremely rare disease before or have known anyone to have it.

 I also had no idea how GBS affected someone or how it can alter their life. Getting to know my Father-In-Law better over the years, has shown me how much an individual can be impacted or affected by GBS.

I have also learned over the years some of the differences in GBS and specifically GBS-CIDP. CIDP is the chronic diagnosis of GBS. Those impacted by GBS-CIDP must overcome everyday struggles, run into all kinds of issues with health, family, friends, financials, and overall life challenges. This is where we come into play.
